• Been listening to a lot more CDs lately. I got a great deal on a lot of them from a guy on Facebook. I was buying a chair he'd advertised, and when he saw that I was wearing the merch of a local record store, he asked if I liked CDs. I almost feel bad for how many CDs I got for just $40. But he wanted them gone, and I'm the guy!*
  
  The collection is mostly 80s/90s rock/alternative. It's been great looking back on some albums I had as a kid, and I'm looking forward to discovering some new (to me) great albums! The sound quality of the compact disc is great! Better than Spotify, no question! CDs are underrated.


• I've been playing a lot of Stardew Valley on our PS5. I call my hill-top farm Rocka Rolla Farm. My dog is Hendrix. I'm planning on naming all my animals after dead rock stars, particularly those who died young. It's not meant to be disrespectful, of course. I view it as my way of honoring them.


• With the big Animal Crossing: New Horizons update (3.0) I've picked up my Switch again. I noticed the changes in crafting (love!), and the new LEGO items in Nook Shopping (cute, but not very useful/versatile), but I have yet to see all the other stuff because I haven't reached 3-star island status!

I'm watching Big Top Pee-wee in honor of Paul Reubens. It's not nearly as watchable as Pee-wee's Big Adventure, but it's a comfort movie for me, and hey it's free to watch (Amazon Prime).

Paul Reubens... What a loss. Like many other folks my age, I grew up watching Pee-wee - especially Pee-wee's Playhouse. He had a big impact on me. He was like a light in a dark world. It may sound corny, but it's absolutely true.
