1. What's your favorite candle scent?
In winter, I love a pine tree scent. I like lavender a lot. And I like apple. I like pretty much anything, as long as it isn't scented like some type of dessert or something, yuck.
2. Do you have an artistic or crafty hobby? What is it?
I'm not really working on any crafts at the moment, but I'm planning on getting back into knit and crochet and maybe some felt crafts... Mom got a Cricut Maker for her craft room! It should come today, actually! I'm not sure what model exactly, but yeah, I'm excited!
3. What's one weird way you save money on food?
I don't think I have any good answer for this! I do save condiments for later use sometimes though! Like ketchup packets and stuff. LOL
4. Do you collect anything weird or unusual?
I don't know if dolls themselves are weird, but some think it's weird to collect them. I have two Blythe dolls (which a lot of people think are creepy/spooky-looking - but I think they're just adorable!), a bunch of Barbie dolls, lots of Kewpie dolls, and a whole lot more!! I don't have them all displayed though, just a few!
5. Do you fear the deep ocean, or does its unknown depths excite you?
I fear it. Rightfully so, I think! I mean... There are sharks and shit in there, FFS! I think of the ocean waves as the ocean saying, "Get out of me, go away! You don't belong in me!" LOL

26. If you opened a business, what kind of business would it be?
A vintage toy shop! I want to actually do it! It's a goal of mine.
I'm really inspired by Spiral Toy in Japan. They have some really great collectibles! I found out about them through their awesome YouTube channel. |

1) If you had to build a Christmas tree with just items around your house, what would definitely be part of it?
All my Christmas-themed toys - certain My Little Pony ponies (Merry Treat and Baby Stocking), Christmas trolls, kewpie dolls, etc.
2) What's your favorite holiday to decorate for?
Valentine’s Day. I love the hearts, and all the red and pink!
3) What are you best at baking?
Apple noodle kugel, though I’ve only made it once.
4) What memorable gift do you still appreciate?
Many of them! I can’t single one out...
5) What would be a good reindeer name?

| Color Reveal Barbie! |

Ok, so I just found out about these Color Reveal Barbies! Now, I normally don't give a shit about modern toys, and I even hate on them... but for some reason, I am tempted to buy one of these:
I mean, what a cool idea, right!? They could be a lot cuter, but I still think it's really fun!
They sure don't make 'em like they used to though! I mean, the face molds alone! Take the California Dream line for instance:

Each one of these is so beautiful! Their face shapes, and facial features... They're all unique! And their coloring is diverse too! Ken's a little goofy, but he always has looked like a bit of a doofus, hasn't he?  I actually think I had this exact Ken doll!
Anyway, even considering that they could be improved, I think the Color Reveal Barbies are pretty cool! I would buy some for my nieces, if not just for myself!! They're $15 a pop, by the way. Not so bad at all for seven surprises!!

4 What’s the most ridiculous way you’ve ever been injured?
Well, yesterday I was going through a bin at Goodwill and there was a metal sign in there that cut my finger! I didn't even realize I was bleeding until I happened to look down at my hand!! It was kind of freaky! I ran to the bathroom, but they didn't have paper towels, so I had to use toilet paper. I had napkins in the car, and went to the dollar store and got a first aid kit! |

While on the subject of road trips, here's another destination on my list:
I've been wanting to visit BabyLand General Hospital ever since Shannon Shaw posted about it online. It's so cute, and it's free admission! Apparently the place even smells of Cabbage Patch Kids!! Does anyone else remember that sort of powdery, plastic-y smell they had? It was just lovely.
I actually thrifted a vintage Cabbage Patch Kid in excellent condition not too long ago... She was only $3 at Goodwill! She's African American with brown yarn hair in pigtails (complete with little yellow ribbons), and came dressed in CPK jeans, a yellow and white tee-shirt, a yellow jacket with CPK logo, and even little white tennis shoes!

questionoftheday asks: What object holds the most sentimental value for you?
My answer: I'm a very sentimental person, so it's hard to choose! But I guess the object that really stands out would be the teddy bear that my sister made for me in her home economics class. I must've been about five, six years old when she gave it to me, and I named it Memo (pronounced "mee-mo").
I kept Memo with me for a long time, through many years, and many moves... But I think she may have been lost at some point because I haven't seen her in a few years. She could be at my mom's, but... I don't know... I sort of doubt it. 🙁
But oh, well... Life goes on, I guess. |

| Craving Christmas/Toy Snobbery |

I've been craving Christmas since last month (I guess Christmas in July is a thing)!! I love Christmas and its whole vibe! The music, the lights, the smell of real Christmas tree! 🎄 (And yes, I am one of those spoiled brats who got to celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah growing up!) 🎁🎁🎁
Anyway, I've been collecting decorations! I thrifted a couple Christmas trolls (one red/green, and one really cute little baby Russ brand troll with a Santa hat), and I found a couple Christmas Weeble Wobbles (Santa Claus and Rudolph the Reindeer) at my mom's! Then today, this beauty came:
Her name is Merry Treat, she's a G1 My Little Pony! I got her on Ebay... Bit of a splurge for me, since I usually thrift for toys! Her foot says "1984 Hasbro," so yeah... She's a year older than me!
Also, I've put a bid on another Christmas pony, a baby! She was a Kellogg's Cereal mail-order offer back in the 80s! She doesn't have an official name but is referred to as Baby Stockings or Baby Kellogg's. [Edit: I won!]
Unpopular opinion here, but I don't find the new ponies at all cute! I actually really hate anything past G2! I'm a pony snob, LOL! I didn't really like the look of them from the get-go, but all that "brony" stuff sure didn't help! I'm sure it's completely innocent for some, but some of those guys are pedophilic perverts! Sidenote: Why do men have to ruin everything?
While I'm on the subject of toys I hate, I gotta say something - I hate FunkoPops!! I'm sure everyone knows the ones I'm talking about? They're pretty popular, I think, but I'm like straight up Offended by them! I don't care what person/character it depicts, they're all ugly, and fucking tacky! 💩💩💩
