Since it appears I've been banned from commenting on ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png) conuly's posts in ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png) agonyaunt, I'll post my reply to this comment here instead:
Obesity is associated with health problems such as heart disease, stroke, and arthritis.
I think you may be the first person in these comments to actually acknowledge this scientific fact (yeah whatever, fight me)!
Being fat is not some fun, cool thing like some people (including influencers and even celebrities) make it out to be...
Excuse my rant... I just get a bit fired up about this because I'm obese myself and getting older now, and I'm starting to see the consequences of it. I can't blame anyone but myself, but I do feel that the "fat positivity" movement and ideas like HAES definitely didn't help!
Frankly, being fat sucks.
