1. What was the first album you ever bought?
Dookie by Green Day - very typical of an elder millennial like myself!

2. What format was it? (cassette, CD, other?)
CD.

3. How old were you?
About ten. My sister took me to the record store and I picked it out.

4. Where did you hear it?
We're talking about Green Day - their music was everywhere in the mid-1990s!

5. Did your parents approve?
My mom liked Green Day ok!

I don't think I actually started buying music until it became mostly digital, although I did get game soundtracks as bonuses of whatever video games I purchased, so I did technically "buy" them, and I've been doing so since I got my credit card and pre-purchased games online. My parents likely have no problem with it as they don't say anything when I play it in my room, but then again, they don't play video games at all :/

omg haha I actually don't remember the VERY first album I bought but Dookie was definitely up there, I remember being so excited coming across it randomly at the record store. When I Come Around is still probably my favourite Green Day song.
