Guitars

Found my capo, and played guitar for at least an hour yesterday! I learned how to play "Feel the Pain" by Dinosaur Jr.

I've mostly got it down, except for the little bendy parts. "Little bendy parts" meaning the thing where you bend one string to match the note you're playing on another string.

I think if I can really get into this, I want to get a new guitar! Maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself here, but man... The guitar lust is real! I'm definitely not a gearhead by any means, but I do find them beautiful!

That "blueberry burst" finish is so dreamy!! ๐Ÿ˜

I used to have a Hello Kitty Strat, but I sold it years ago when I was broke. I regret that now, but they're pretty cheap and I may just replace it when I get the chance! They came in black or pink. I had the black:

It's nothing fancy, but I just love how the pickguard is a sweet Hello Kitty face!! Fender also makes a Bad Badtz Maru bass guitar!

I'm not really a Gibson guy or a Fender guy... I'm a... confused guy.

I was always into fender growing up.. in my 20's I got a really good deal on a les paul studio and, whoa, it was a world of difference. made my fenders feel like toys. One of the cats knocked the les paul over and broke it, so I'm back to a tele, and I guess my washburn is a gibson 335 copy.

I dunno. I like the old neil young quote - "every guitar has 2 or 3 songs in it" and I think I agree with that.

I don't know what guitar stores you have access too, but If you've got a Sam Ash, I'd recommend going there. they are a lot cooler with letting people try things than guitar center is.
