I have to honestly say that I am happy to have things a bit cooler here. Summer is great and all, but 42 days of being above 95 is a bit much...

I've been living around the Pacific Northwest for a long time now, and though I complain about the heat, honestly, I'm spoiled! The weather doesn't get all that hot here. It felt hot today, so I just looked up what the current temp is... It's 82 degrees (F)! Not that hot, but it sure felt like it when I was outside today!

I live in the Central Valley of California. We have mild winters (no ice and rarely even a frost) and long Spings and Autumns. However, the summer here, well let's just say Death Valley has nothing on us, but you are also right. We have a/c and on demand heat.

We've been in the mid 80's this week and people are putting pants on! :D
